Dear Parents/Guardians,

It is hard to believe that summer is coming to a close and that the 2014-2015 school year is quickly approaching.  Don’t forget that you have the ability to see your student’s grades at any  time online.  If you need to have another copy of your login and password, we will be sending them home with students during the first two weeks of school.  You can access InformationNOW through our website at www.lcusd9.org.

Sports practices will be underway beginning on August 13, 2014 and it won’t be long until we are beginning our first competitions.  If you have not already, please take a look at our sports webpage www.lebanonsports.org.  This site will contain valuable information including rainouts and rescheduling.

Please have all of your registration paperwork turned in to the junior high/high school office.  It is imperative that we receive this paperwork so that we are able to update addresses, phone numbers and emergency contacts.  This is also how we will update the information for the Alert Now phone message system during the school year.

Some important dates to remember for the months of August and September are as follows:

  • Board Meeting August 13 @ 7:30 p.m.
  • Freshmen Orientation  August 12 @ 10:00 a.m.
  • First Day of School (full day) August 14
  • HS Picture Day -September 2
  • Board Meeting September 10 @ 7:30 p.m.
  • Progress Reports go home September 17

If you are a parent/guardian of a junior high student please contact me for schedule changes.  If you are a parent/guardian of a high school student, please contact Ms. Schorfheide for schedule  changes.  Just a reminder, the last day to change a high school schedule is August 18.  If I can be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me or a member of the LHS/LJHS staff at your convenience.

 Sincerely,

Mrs. Jackson

LHS/LJHS Principal
