Some reminders and information before tomorrow: Students last name A-L attend school tomorrow. Last names M-Z attend on Friday. Starting next week, A-L will attend school on Monday and Tuesday, M-Z will attend school on Thursday and Friday. Students must wear face masks at all times during the school day. Neck gaiters are not an allowable mask due to concerns about their inability to properly protect individuals against viruses. Doors to the building open at 7:45. Please time your arrival to school for that time. Upon entry, students will report directly to 1st hour class. Classes start at 8:00. All students not riding a bus to school will enter through the Commons entrance to LHS. Bus riders will enter through a different set of doors. Students should bring a fully charged Chromebook to school each day. We are excited to have you back.! Go Greyhounds!

Hello. As we prepare for students to return to in-person instruction, many questions will arise. Know that our first priority will be the safety of students and staff. Additionally, we have updated our web page at LCUSD9.org with some information and Q & A reference for each school building. For any additional questions feel free to reach out via email or phone to the school building your child or children attend. As referenced on our web page, with the adjustment of A/B days and 50% student capacity Blended Learning Plan, we know families may want to change learning plans. If you are happy with your selection prior to lock down nothing further is needed. Any changes must be made prior to Friday, September 18th. After September 18th, students will not be able to move from remote to in-person until 2nd quarter. Thank you for your support. Go Greyhounds!

Hello. With the decision of the St. Clair County Health Department and Regional Office of Education to allow schools to return to in person instruction based on local determination, we are pleased to announce that LCUSD9 will begin our Blended Return to Learn Model. This will be an “A” & “B” day, 50% capacity model that will allow for social distancing. Wearing a mask and social distancing will allow our students and staff a safe return to school. Please visit our district web site for more schedule information on the blended model. Full remote will also be offered for those families still wanting that option. We will begin next Thursday, September 24 with our “A” group and then our “B” group on Friday, September 25. After that our weekly schedule will be A, A, Remote Day for all, B, B. We will continue to work towards full inclusion. We know the importance of students being in school and appreciate your cooperation.
