Thursday night was senior night for our 7 volleyball seniors: Aryanna Wright, Kendal Strozier, Brooke Goetter, Hannah Krumsieg, Tabitha Bauer, Doreen Lee and Meadow Pier. Our HS volleyball team also had a special guest on their bench, 5th grader for Lyriel Hernandez. Lyriel was nominated by her teachers for her hard work and willingness to help others. She presented the game ball to the officials, helped the coaches warm up the team and sat on the bench with the team during the games. The coaches and team enjoyed having her on the bench, keep up the great work Lyriel!!!
Parent/Player/Coach Meeting reminder. We will meet in the HS commons at 7:00 tonight for all student athletes who will be going out for hs boys basketball, hs cheerleading and hs boys and girls bowling.
Athletic Update
HS Boys soccer defeated Roxana in the semi-final on Friday night 1-0 and will now face Alton Marquette on Tuesday Oct 17th at 6:00 at Gordon Moore Park in the IHSA Regional Championship.
HS Volleyball plays Tuesday at Sandoval and their last home game vs Valmeyer this Thursday at 6:00
HS Cross Country runs in the IHSA Regional this Saturday at Wesclin HS, girls run at 10:00 and boys run 11:00
JH Girls Basketball starts their season this week at the St Libory tournament. They play tonight at 7:00 vs St John-Red Bud, Tuesday night at 6:00 vs Marissa and Thursday night at 6:00 vs St Libory.
JH Boys Basketball won't open up till next week in the Marissa Tournament

Good morning!! Tomorrow is picture retake day for all students in the district. Also, first quarter ended on Friday, October 13, 2023. Grades will be final on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. This year, like stated at the beginning of the year, we will be going paperless for report cards. Please check your students Power School to see their final quarter grades.
The parent/player/coach meeting is on this Monday at 7:00 in the hs commons
Reminder we have our coach/player/parent meeting for high school boys basketball, high school cheerleading and high school boys and girls bowling in the high school commons at 7:00.
The fall blood drive will be Tuesday, October 31 from 9:00am-2:00pm in the high school gym. Anyone 16 years of age and older is invited to sign up to give. If you are 16 please pick up a consent form from the sign up table at lunch or talk to Mrs. Froidcoeur. Guests will be asked to sign-in in the office. Congratulations to our FFA soil judging team for placing 7th place out of 32 schools at the State Land Use Evaluation contest held at SWIC today!! Blake Hurley was awarded "superior individual" which is an individual who places top ten in the state. Blake placed 7th out of 122 students! Our team also placed 3rd in our District! Blake placed 3rd individual in our District and Robert Zimmerman placed 10th! This was their first time competing at the state level for this competition and they definitely held their own!! Proud to be a greyhound!!

Thursday Oct 12th- HS Volleyball Senior Night, JV game at 6:00 and Senior recognition will be after the JV game. Parents please arrive no later than 6:30
Friday Oct 13th- HS Soccer will play in the Semifinal of the IHSA Soccer Regional at Gordon Moore Park in Alton at 6:30 vs Roxana, good luck in the post-season Greyhounds!
Friday Oct 13th- JH Boys and Girls Basketball and Cheerleading Purple/White Scrimmage Night at 6:00 in the HS gym. Come out and support our junior high teams! Booster Club will be selling Little Caesers Pizza!
Monday Oct 16th- Parent/Player/Coach Meeting for HS Boys Basketball, HS Cheerleading and HS Bowling at 7:00 in the HS Commons
Tuesday Oct 17th- Parent/Player/ Coach meeting for HS Girls Basketball on Oct 17th at 7:00 at Wesclin HS in the HS cafeteria. I know our volleyball has a game that night and I will let them know where some of our parents and players are that night.
Congratulations to our FFA soil judging team who placed 2nd out of 11 schools today at the Section 22 Land Use Evaluation contest! Out of 50+ students Autumn Guyette placed 3rd place, Robert Zimmerman placed 5th, and Tyler Hohrein placed 8th! Wish us luck as we head to the state contest tomorrow!!! Go greyhounds!

Come check out your 2023-2024 Jr High basketball and cheerleading teams on Friday at 6:00 for our annual purple and white scrimmage. All proceeds will benefit the Clinton County Humane Society.

Senior Night tonight for HS Soccer and Cross Country! We will honor senior soccer players Tyler Hohrein and Robert Zimmerman as well as cross country senior Connor Taulbee at 4:15 pm before the soccer game. The soccer game will start at 4:30. Please come out and show your support for our soccer program at their final regular season home game!
Today's Baseball/Softball Intramurals we will be inside the grade school gymnasium. Parent pick-up will be at 4:15 behind the grade school.
The junior high girls basketball team has opened a team store for any parents/students/fans who would like some gear. This is not a fundraiser, they just wanted to offer the opportunity for anyone who would like the opportunity to buy some gear to wear to games. The store will close Monday night.
