Let's start off the year with a couple of shoutouts as our junior high baseball and junior high softball teams have been competing for 2 weeks now. Our jh baseball team is 2-3 and during these first few weeks and our coaches would like to recognize some Athletes of the Week!
For JH Baseball, coach Donovan, Coach Alex Phillips and Coach Shaun Behlke are recognizing:

6th grader Jamaar Brown, during the 1st week of games Jammar went 5 for 7 with 2 doubles, 6 RBI and 3 runs scored. Jamaar pitched 2 innings allowing one run and striking out one hitter.

6th grader Michael Donovan, during the 1st week Michael went 6 for 7 with 2 doubles, 2 RBI and 4 runs scored and he also pitched one scoreless inning striking out 3 hitters.

5th grader Owen Cotts, during this past week, Owen brought the hustle as he is always going full speed and is fearless against the older players. Owen hit the ball hard against tough pitchers this week.

5th grader Aiden Brockhahn, during this past week, Aiden collected his first varsity hit which was a double against and 8th grade pitcher. Aiden brings a positive attitude everyday.

LES Families - Thank you SO much for your patience and grace while working through our new arrival and dismissal procedures. You all have been rockstars through the changes and then adding in kindergarten yesterday. Please make sure to keep your car tag up and hanging until your student is in the car. This helps all our staff to identify the correct vehicles. Again, thank you for working through this change with us!

We want to clarify communication about Wednesdays for our athletes. On Wednesday, student athletes who start practice at 3 pm or 3:15 pm may stay in the high school commons for a supervised study hall.

Reminder that this year, we will not provide an after school study hall for athletes on Mon, Tues, Thur or Friday. We WILL have athletic study hall in the hs commons on Wednesdays due to early dismissal. Practices will start at 3:00-3:15 or will be later in the evening

Good evening families!

We have a reminder about the new arrival and dismissal route. Please refer to the previously sent video and map. We also have some clarification to questions that have been asked.

Monroe will remain a 2-way street. Students who drive to school will take a left in the first parking lot opening when going south on Monroe.

Parents dropping off at the Jr/Sr High School should enter off route 4 to drop off at the commons and will continue to the right onto Monroe St.

Parents who only need to drop off at the elementary school may come in from Route 4 or Monroe St. If coming off Monroe, you will need to make a right onto Mary Jane St.

Building principals will be located on Monroe and Officer Puckett will be assisting traffic at the back Elementary lot. We appreciate your patience as we work through this change for the safety of our students and staff.
